My Handmade Backpack Buttons/Brooches

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a new set of my handmade items. The backpack buttons/brooches I told you before! All the paintings are original and drawn by me using watercolor. The painting is glued to a brooch of size 36mm and finally covered with resin to create a final glossy look.

I hope you like them! :)

Long time no update!

I'm planning to launch a new website soon.
After a long period of playing with different craft/art material, I found the one which suits me best! It's been a while that I'm making button-pins. Many friends encouraged me to make many of them for sale. Even one friend bought 4!

That was the first craft sale of my whole life and it felt so good.
Thanks to her, I got more determined about this craft making and focused on the buttons. So far over 30 of them are made and ready to go for sale but I don't have a proper media to share my products with people. Hence, I decided to collect them all and upload in a proper website -with buying options- rather than a blog or a Facebook page.

That's why I've not been uploading anything during last few months. Well, It will take more than what I expected but the results are worth it!

My little girls!

Finally free! I'm done with my last exam and nothing is better than the freedom feeling! Well, that won't be the last exam of my life but at least I can be sure that there is no more coming in next few months!
And here is the way I showed my happiness! Spending 2 hours or maybe more making new dolls. Feel so happy to have such a colorful cute girls :)

Kissed by Fire - Handmade Polymer Clay Doll

Here I have a new project for you: "sculpturing using polymer clay". I bought some polymer clay few weeks ago and had some ideas to make some jewelry stuff out of them. Before starting a new material I'd like to search about it to see how other people use it. YouTube is one of the best to start with and the next one is Pinterest. Anyway, I found lots of projects in which people made beautiful little sculptures out of the clay. So I found it more interesting to make a doll instead of jewelry. Here is my first try with this kind of dolls and I don't have any name for her so far. Hopefully I'll continue making more of them in future and sure I'll share them with you here.
I was not sure how it's gonna look like at the end so didn't take any photos during the process of making them. But for the next time I'll share with you a step by step photo-tutorial.

Gray Bird on Red Flower

This one is in watercolor. It took few hours to finish. I don't remember exactly but probably by taking 1 or 2 hours a day (for 2 or at most 3 days) it was done! How do you like it?

More Rabbits..More!

Well, I like them so much and can not stop myself making more and more of these! Here are four more! They sound cute to me :). I'm still thinking of new ways to use them. Probably go with crochet strings and try the rabbits on them too.
The table is almost a mess and I'm gonna leave it for a while until it's time to start again. Usually weekends are the best time for doing craft projects. OOOh! I just remembered that the painting work for the charity is not done yet! Although it is due end of summer but I prefer to finish it as soon as possible. It seems that the rabbits may have to wait until I'm done with the painting. Hopefully I upload more projects for you next week :).

Ceramic Rabbit Ornament

New hobby, new material, new craft! Well, I had some beads and wires at home plus some cute little ceramic rabbits. I had no initial plan. Just bent the wires and made several shapes till I found the one satisfied me. There are more cute bunnies and lots of other beads that I'm going to try and make new hangings. Here is the first one. They say practice makes better and I'm going to make more beautiful stuff :).

Vitrail Candle Holders

Finally I found sometime to relax and do something new! Here are the results of my very first experience with vitrail colors. It was not that hard! First draw the boundaries in black or gold then fill it with the color you like the best!
Probably the most important part is finding a good pattern or design something. I came up with all the patterns on the fly and it seems good to me! Although I messed up with one of them -which is not shown here!- but that's OK for the first experiment!

Acrylic Painting

Hi everyone!

Remember I told you about a charity painting? It is supposed to be a big picture made of several small paintings and I'm working on two pieces. One of them must be in green theme and the other one blue/skin color. First one is finished by now and I can't wait to start the second one but I have to work on my presentation as well. Hopefully next one will be ready next week.

Ooooh.. I forgot to say interesting projects are coming soon! My boyfriend bought some vitrail colors for me and I'm going to experience that too! Never did anything in vitrail it must be so fun! I'll share with you that experience too.

Do something fun today and enjoy! :)

Lake View in WaterColor

Anybody interested in watercolor? I love it!  It feels like walking on clouds when I play with brush on the paper (I've never walked on clouds but it must be as smooth as what I experienced with watercolor!). It is original and inspired from a photo and took me few days to finish.

Here is another picture under different light and a bit far so you can see the borders. Well, the whole thing is a nice rectangle but I didn't frame it. That's why the borders seems strange! A beautiful frame makes much better.

Make a beatiful gift/jewelry box

Here is the new project! Finally found someway to decorate this little box. It's ready to be used as jewelry or gift box. All the materials I used are nail polish, wire and some glue! I'm still thinking of some other ways to use "nail polish flowers" in craft projects. They are pretty easy and fun to make and I have lots of nail polishes that I've never tried yet!

I'm also working on two paintings. They are supposed to be part of charity painting. One of those mosaic paintings in which the whole picture is made of several little ones.  I'll upload them when I'm done.

Resin Keychains

There are lots of interesting things to try out there and if you have not tried "Resin" yet, I must recommend it to you! Some people make jewelry out of it and some even use it to create special effects in their paintings. I found it interesting to combine it with my painting ideas and make cute little ornaments like key-chains. I may try jewelry making someday but for now I'm obsessed with key-chains. Here are some of them. Leave me comment if you like to buy any of them. They are 5$ each! :)

P.s.1. The fish and yellow chicken are already gone.
P.s.2. Other new things are available. I'll upload more photos upon request.
P.s.3. Click to see it in larger scale!

Nail Polish Flowers on Door Ornament

Recently I've had more time to spend on making craft.  - It doesn't mean that I'm done with all my "academic duties", they are still there and waiting for me to finish them - Maybe that's because I'm alone for 3 weeks and when you are by yourself you can have a better time management.
Anyways, I found a creative way of making flowers out of wire and nail polish on the Internet and couldn't wait until all my homework is done! and here is what I get after spending an afternoon on this project:

I love this delicate cute little flower. I think the first one who came up with the idea of making such nice flowers is a creative one! Here is the link to teach you how to do it yourself and make your own door ornament!

I hope you make your own flowers and enjoy! :)

Let's enjoy!

I've recently started to gather all my art works in a Facebook page called Art, Craft, Fun. I'm not a professional artist and never took serious art classes but learn from what I see. I've already tried painting (in color-pencil, watercolor and acrylic), some jewelry making and some other small things. I would like to share them with you here as well!
You can find the finished works in my Facebook page but here I would like to share some steps of creating my works.
I hope we enjoy it together :)
